Methodism 101 Resources: On Sunday, we talked about our sacraments: Baptism and Communion. Here is a great FAQ about our tradition and theology of baptism.
**SATURDAY** PVUMC Craft Fair at the Pavilion: Our Prayer Shawl Ministry will be hosting a Craft Fair at the Pavilion on October 5th. Proceeds will benefit the Prayer Shawl Ministry. There will be a Food Truck, a Pancake Breakfast hosted by Troop 117, a bake sale and all kinds of handmade gifts and treats! And don’t forget: the Corn Hole Tournament begins at 9:30am.
HELP WANTED: The Prayer Shawl ladies are looking for help moving tables to and from the pavilion. If you are available on Friday at 1pm, please meet in the church parking lot to load up and deliver tables. Clean up will begin promptly at 4pm on Saturday to return the tables to the church. If you can help at either or both of these times, please come!
Fellowship Hall Painting: Renovations have begun in the Fellowship Hall. We will continue painting at 1pm tomorrow, October 3. If you are available to help paint, please join us!
Nursery Care: We are looking for one Sunday School volunteer and two Worship Service volunteers each Sunday to look after our little ones. If you are interested in serving in the nursery, click here to sign up. All of our nursery volunteers must be background checked and trained in Safe Sanctuary.
Charge Conference: We will be holding our 2023 Charge Conference with our District Superintendent, Rev. Pat Freudenthal, this Thursday, October 3rd at 6pm in the Sanctuary. All are welcome and those in leadership are strongly encouraged to attend.
