This Week at PVUMC 12/30/24

Last Call for 2024 Donations: If you would like to make a contribution to our General Fund, Fuel, our Christmas Offering for School Lunch Debt, or any other 2024 tax deductible donation, the deadline is tomorrow at noon. Contact Pastor Steve or the church office to make arrangements.

Called Charge Conference (Sunday, January 19th after church): Our District Superintendent, Rev. Pat Freudenthal has called a Charge Conference to vote on two items. 1) Approval to sell an unused portion of our pavilion property and 2) to vote on a new treasurer (Thank you Lois!). Per the Book of Discipline both of these require a Called Charge Conference by the DS. All members of the church are encouraged to attend. It should be a fairly brief meeting. If you have any questions about either of these please don’t hesitate to reach out to Pastor Steve, the Trustees, or the Finance Committee.

2025 Stewardship Campaign: Beginning this Sunday through February 2nd, we will be recommitting ourselves to another year of mission and ministry at PVUMC. In the United Methodist Church our membership vows include a commitment to prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Over the next five weeks we will be exploring what these mean and recommitting ourselves to loving and serving the Lord at PVUMC in 2025!

Epiphany Open House: Come to the parsonage at noon on Sunday, January 12th for the traditional Epiphany Open House. We will be serving soup and sandwiches and enjoying good company! The address of the parsonage can be found in the church directory.
