Scout Sunday: This Sunday is Scout Sunday! Everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item that the Scouts will sort and donate to our food pantry.

Super Bowl Party at the Parsonage: Come to the parsonage at 5pm this Sunday to watch the Super Bowl. Bring something yummy to share!

Aging to Perfection: Maturing in the Light of God’s Grace (Mondays in February at 9am): Join Pastor Anne for a 4-week small group on serving God and growing into the image of Christ at every stage of life!

Lenten Study – Breathing Underwater: Beginning March 10th, Pastor Steve will be leading a small group study on the book Breathing Underwater. It is a book by Richard Rohr on the spirituality of the 12 Steps. We will gather on Monday morning at 9am and Wednesday nights at 6pm. A sign up will be going around in the pews starting February 16th.

Ministry Fair and Breakfast Potluck (Sunday, March 30th at 9am): Come enjoy a hot breakfast and learn more about all the wonderful ministries we do at PVUMC. More info TBA! 

Upper Room Online – It has recently been brought to my attention that Upper Room is available online for free! In addition to the printed copies provided by the church, you may also enjoy this daily devotional online at no charge. Click here to read it.

2025 Stewardship Campaign: Pledge cards went out in the bulletins last Sunday, we will have more provided this Sunday. If you would like digitally to look at them, please contact Pastor Steve. We will collect the pledge cards during communion this Sunday.

Kids Club (THIS SUNDAY: 5:00-6:30pm): For ages 3-10. Kids Club is our fun filled evening of learning to love like Jesus. We will eat supper, play games, and have interactive bible study. Parents are welcome to stay, enjoy refreshments and hang out with Pastor Steve and his wife, Heather in the fellowhip hall.

Bunco: This Thursday, January 23rd. Come roll the dice and enjoy fellowship and a snack potluck! Starts at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Called Charge Conference: On Sunday, the church voted to approve to measures: 1) We elected Beth Bostwick as our new treasurer. Thank you to our outgoing treasurer, Lois King for her commitment and faithfulness! 2) We voted to approve the sale of 3 acres of our pavilion property. This is an unused portion of the land and we intend to use those funds to reinvest in our main campus including expanding space for our pantry and FUEL ministry.

2025 Stewardship Campaign: January 5th through February 2nd, we will be recommitting ourselves to another year of mission and ministry at PVUMC. In the United Methodist Church our membership vows include a commitment to prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Over the next weeks we will be exploring what these mean and recommitting ourselves to loving and serving the Lord at PVUMC in 2025!
